I won't bore you with all of the sordid details of the longest night of my life. In a large nutshell, H and OW had a huge fight last night and he ended up sleeping in my sons room. Julie (OW) ended up somehow getting into my house and had an altercation with my oldest D. It was horrible. They were screaming, swearing, struggling w/ each other. Julie wanted to talk to my H and Val wouldn't let her by. She wouldn't leave. She was screaming for my H and when he wouldn't talk to her, she screamed louder. Finally my H told her to leave and for a few seconds it seemed like she would. I had to call the police when she came back and wouldn't stop pounding on the door and was still screaming things at the back door. Now today, she won't stop calling here. She started calling at 8:00. The first call, my daughter picked up and told her that H was not here and not to call again. Of course, Julie didn't believe her so she kept calling and calling. Now I am sitting here alone. H and S are in Maine, OD is out with friends for the night, YD is out with friends until 10 or so. This woman is scary. I am going to call a few of my other neighbors and ask them to keep an eye out for any disturbances tonight. I am really scared. Please say a prayer for us tonight. Thanks

Dear BH,
Let us know if you need someone to talk with. I will be out for a little while but will check back later. K?
Scary OWs come in all shapes and sizes and live in a variety of neighborhoods, even our own. I am not really sorry she went wacko just sorry you are having to deal with it.
Get with a friend and keep the police on alert. Any clues as to the cause of the wackiness? I thought she was getting a new house?

Take Care,
L.

I'm here, too, if you need company. Do notify the police. Do you have someone to come stay with you tonight? Do you want to go stay somewhere else?
You don't think your H gave her a key to your house, do you, or she took one from him?
Sounds like WH's fantasy relationship is getting shakey. Can you imagine how ashamed H must feel having his behavior bring such turmoil into his family's home?!!!!!
Estes

Thanks everyone for the support. The wackiness started because my H was in a bad mood because his car broke down and his weekend plans w/ my kids were ruined. She didn't understand this and kept bugging him to snap out of it. They both had a lot to drink from what I could tell, and things got out of hand. She started swinging at him and he grabbed her arm. She screamed out and said he broke it. Her kids jumped on WS and started kicking and scratching him. So, he left there and came to my house. I told him he could sleep in my sons room for the night. Things just progressed from there. Julie threw things over our fence, she screamed at my kids, at me, and my husband. Coming into my house and wrestling w/ my kids is the last straw. I am going to get a restraining order against her. The police have been notified and will do a few drive bys during the night. Only three and 1/2 weeks left to live here. I can't wait. She hasn't called here in a while, so maybe that will stop. I have tried calling three friends to see if they could come over but no one is home! Thanks everyone. I appreciate the company tonight! It is going to be a long one!

Orchid, I forgot to answer the question about her getting a new house. She is supposed to be buying a house w/ my H. Last night they both said they were backing out of it, but they were both drunk and angry. Who knows what will happen now. He really has made a mess out of his life.
The other thing I forgot to mention was that she is accusing him of abusing her. This is also something she accused her husband of. I know alcohol does a number on one's personalities, but I can't imagine my husband raising his hand to a woman. But then again...I would never have imagined he could have an affair either.

Hi Mom of Five, Wow...5!! Quite the handful, but quite the blessing!
I will keep the light on and have notified a couple of neighbors, BUT I can't find my dog!! She was here this morning when I went out but now I can't find her. Unfortunately, my OD left the porch door open. Now I am petrified that Julie came in a took my dog. I know I am probably being paranoid, but I can't help it. I am going to have to wait until tomorrow when my D gets home to see if she took the dog with her. It would be very strange for her to do that, but hopefully, that is the case. You are right..I think paradise is over too. We shall see! Thanks!

people always say that!!! lol
5 is not so many and yes a HUGE blessing. Life is never dull.
I think being paranoid comes from watching to many movies. YA think?
All jokes aside this must be hard to see your children go through this, H will wake up and think OH MY WHAT HAVE I DONE!?
Be strong and never stoop to their level. Doesnt help anything, sounds to me like you are doing wll with the girls on your own even though it wasnt your choice.

It is really hard to see your children going through such pain. They have handled things so maturely and I feel very blessed to have them as my children. My son is 16 and he was so great last night. He came up to me and hugged me and made sure I was alright. Julie said to him at one point that she had made a promise to my H not to tell the kids what had happened and she wouldn't break that promise, so he turned to her and said "Oh, it is OK to break up a marriage, but not a promise..hmmmm." What a great statement! Out of the mouths of babes! I am doing the best I can under these awkward circumstances. I have been up since 7:00 am Friday, so I am just a little tired! Thanks for listening!

ohmigod, is there no end to the hell you have to endure? Does this woman have no respect for anything? For her to come into your own house is beyond belief. If I were you, I would be very concerned about my personal safety and would get a handgun. I have 9mm that I keep in my nightstand for when my H is out of town.
I wonder if it's in yours and the kids best interest for him to come to your home when they a fight? I don't think I would offer him that refuge, especially since it results in a nutcase like that invading your house.

Hi Melody!
Well, I guess it is a lesson learned. This is the first time he has come here after a fight. NEVER AGAIN will I offer him a place to stay after a fight. It puts too much potential danger and too much stress on my kids. She is a nutcase!! As they say...hindsight is 20/20! If only I knew then what I know now! I think I need some sleep!!

Well BH, as I read this horrifying situation ( I could NOT have dealt with living next door, I don't know how you do it) the thought did occur to me that you do seem to be given a front row seat to the "Death of the Affair" or at the very least "Reality Asserting Itself".
So many BS's are tormented by thoughts that the relationship btwn WS and OP is wonderful and stress-free.
Guess you won't have to think that everything was love and roses will ya?
Just trying to lighten the mood abit. What awesome kids you have. Hang in there.

Orchid & Nikko - Well, I made it through the night without any problems. I slept a little bit. Woke up a lot, but I feel much better. I still can't find my dog! Val should be home this afternoon and hopefully the dog will be with her.
BR - I guess their honeymoon is over! It will be interesting to see what will happen when he gets back from Maine. He is not staying here that is for sure! It has been horrible living next door and I honestly don't know if I will ever be able to get over the whole ordeal. Hopefully when I move, I can begin to heal.
Estes, Orchid, Nikko, Bramblerose, Melodyland, Mom of 5, and Hoping....I really want to thank you for your encouragement and concern. I am definitely going to get a restraining order. Courts are closed Monday, so I will go first thing Tuesday.

broken hearted
just wanted to see if you maid it through the night. I can see you did well.
I had no idea this was going on next door, My gosh I am so sorry how hard that must be I cant imagine.
Take care of your self, and it seems you have taught your kids well, They will move pass this and be better inspite of it.
I agree never offer refuge from his mess again, let him wallow in it. He needs to learn the hard way.
Tuesday morning I hope to hear you are in the process of getting that restraining order.
I am sure the dog is ok. Dont worry so much.

Thanks Mom...I will get that r.o. on Tuesday. H and kids are coming home tonight so I will find out about the dog then. Hopefully she is with them. My YD and I were home together today and we packed a lot! It was great!
Julie (OW) just called...now she is accusing my son of trying to have her son beat up!! She is going to the high school on Tuesday morning to "do something about it!" I wish I could leave now and not wait three more weeks! I have go get my kids out of here!! I feel like I am going to lose it!! I can't even talk to my S about it until tonight. I hope they aren't too late. I want to get this straightened out NOW!!
