I talked to her on the phone on Tuesday night. From what I can gather, she's been extremely busy lately - mostly spending time with her daughter
Hey Terri!!! Your 'fan club' is waiting for the next update! Me included!! (since I know all to well how things can change from one day to the next (if not by the hour!! ).
Karen

Hello Pepper, So nice to see this thread. Thanks for your concern and your thoughts. How I'm doing is a difficult question...I really feel rather numb these days. I spoke to Steve Harley on Tuesday to confirm where I really should be at this point in the "game". Said I should stick to Plan A for a little while longer. H is still fairly angry these days. Sundays usually start out with an early morning phone call from D to her Dad at about 8:30 which is what happened but he didn't mention what his plans were for the rest of the day. I didn't pry nor did I call. Assumed nothing. Went to church with D. Came home, gardened, put D to sleep, went to my mother's for dinner. Then looked at my cell phone and ralized that H had tried to call but didn't leave a message between 6:30 and 7:00. By this time, it was 8:30. Had D call him and he blows steam. Yells at me for not calling him during the day. I calmly replied that I did not want to bother him. Figured he'd call if he wanted to spend time. Then starts ranting again about his half and getting it so that he can have somewhere to spend time with D (his parents have pretty much shunned him and they still do not know of A). I calmly said that he'd have to speak to my lawyer about any of that. He still has not gone to speak to a lawyer.
Oh well...I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Still hurts very deeply.
Wondering if I should have called HIM? Let me know.
Topie's right. I have been overwhelmed at work. Then fairly whipped at home with D and of course, after D goes to bed, I'm down in the dumps for the rest of the evening. Reality sinks in but I'm getting better at "dealing".
The best thing about all this is that I am starting to feel better about myself. A little stronger too. And, for not being much of a gardener (I think I mentioned that I never mowed the lawn before H left), I'm mowing, weeding, carving, planting and really LOVING it! It's not nearly what it was with H around but I'm nurturing it with my love and it's great for my sanity.
Honey, thanks for thinking of me too.
I mentioned to Steve H. that MB has saved me. I only wish that all of you were closer to me.
Hugs

T-
I have been following you but havent replied much, figure the advice and support that you are getting here is a lot more than what I can offer.
But I'll say this, this post of yours is absolutely WONDERFUL. You sound like a completely diferent woman, there is strength in what you have written. You sound so good, so confident, so incredible.
Something has happened to you T, keep doing what you are doing because it is working great. You are the un-T now!
looking forward to more of these great posts of yours.
LHS

Terrified - you really need to tape record those phone conversations if he is yelling at you about something as trivial as about the time of the phone call. You may need those tapes for evidence for spousal support, child support and child custody - talk to your lawyer about this one. We get so used to their ranting and raving that we think it's normal, but when other hear what they've said we find out that it's not. K

Hello LHS, Good to hear from you. I hope things are continuing to go well for you. Wow, your response amazed me! I'm often not so sure of my changes but thank-you for noticing. It's an uphill battle.
Hell GIIC, How are you doing? How is your baby? I remain in awe of your ability to parent during your ordeal!! And of course, to have the time to contribute to MB!! Thank-you. I think you're right. Tend to accept the behaviour as "typical" and forget that it's not always legally acceptable.
Hugs

T,
You sound good. Glad to hear that gardening has helped. It's hard work but I always feel good after I work in the yard too. Stay strong. You are doing a great job.
