I did it.... I sent this page to my Wife. I hope she reads it. Thank you all so much for your replies... I wish I had the time to reply to each one.
I will say this, I understand to a point where my Wife is coming from. Like herself I am just so emotionally tired of dealing with this but I am not willing to give up on her or me. I know that in the long run we can move foreward beyond this heartache and be happier than we ever have been.
Vixen,
If you are reading this remember that I will always love you more than life itself and that I will always be "The man in love with you". Please don't give up.....
Love your Husband,
Rutger

Lost Soul,
I really don't want to intrude here on Rutger's thread...it's something that should have a new topic, should this be discussed further (and I will be more than happy to include my views on that discussion).
Just one note, *many* is not a generalization; *all* is. And this is in regard to what I've seen in my own life, and what I've read others to go through in this situation, so this can be called 'coloring one's views beyond the ability to distance oneself'. So I will agree with that. It's hard not to relate one's own circumstances to a situation, once you're in it. And that's the underlying reason for my statements to begin with. I'm not one for covering my eyes, I like to see all views, it's quite an eye opener to learn something new that you haven't dealt with before.
Rutger, I think it will turn out allright, and I would have done the same (sending her the thread) if I were you. Good luck to you, and again, sorry for turning this thread around.
[This message has been edited by Madelyn (edited September 13, 1999).]

Rutger...
I'm glad that you e-mailed your W this thread. I hope that after reading this, she will sincerely understand that you truly love her, that you both made mistakes, and that you want to rebuild your marriage with her.
Good luck to both of you....
