So sorry for your loss. <p>I'm very close to both of my fathers. I couldn't imagine losing either of them. It's a shame your bio-dad didn't appreciate you like we do. He really missed out.<p>I'm glad your mom picked out a real daddy for you.<p>E

I too am very sad to hear of your dad's passing. My H qualifies for this category as he was willing to overlook my past and embrace my OC as his own and raise him and be an active part of OC's daily life and concerns.<p>I'm glad that you had a loving stepdad. Good ones are more valuable than mere words can describe.
