Hi folks, looking for some good romantic movies to watch with my W but so many are "affair based" i.e. Bridges of Madison County and stuff like that. Can anyone recommend good marriage based romantic movies to rent this weekend ? Thanks,<p>Jack

The story of us is about a seperated couple that manages to pull it all together in the end...but maybe that's too close to home.<p>Bed of Roses is a good one. The Truth about Cats and Dogs. Forget Paris. Deuce Bigalo (in a funny way). Something about Mary (again in a humerous way). A Walk in the Clouds.

Family Man with Nicolas Cage and Tia Leonni (sp)
is an excellent family focus movie. One line that I love, Cage says "I've seen what I am without you and I've seen what we can be together. I choose us."<p>Guardian
Psalm 61

My favorite romantic movies:
An American President - just all around sweet
Practical Magic - predestined, enduring love
Sommersby - this one makes me cry, but the crux of the movie is love and honor, and I just adore it.
Ghost - another one about enduring love (hmmm - I'm seeing a trend here)

The mirror has 2 faces great story about realizing who you need is often standing right in front of you.

The story of Us is great, but really really really hits home and you don't want to cry so I don't recommend that one.<p>Other good ones:<p>When Harry Met Sally
Shrek (very cute)
As Good As It Gets<p>It's weird some of our favorite movies, I don't ever care to see again like "you've got mail" H has internet A and "Sleepless in Seattle" OW lives there. UGH!!!

Ditto DavidB!
Somewhere in Time is the most romantic movie I have ever seen! Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymore, it's an oldie.<p>The Wedding Planner is also a great one!
Have a great weekend.

Jack218,
Well, what movies did you watch? Give us a review in case we have someone to watch a movie with this weekend.
