I sent a letter of no contact and it's finally over. No contact now for several days from OM. I am diving into taking care of my H and family and their needs. Once I sent the letter the rest was easier than I thought it would be. The posters made me think by things such as what is this man giving to me and if I thought it was difficult now wait till H finds out. Yes my husband give me much emotional other support and I was just deluding myself with this OM. He wasn't giving me anything that I needed long term. My H needs me more than anything. Thanks to Dr. Harley's book and the people who post who are so forthright and to the point for helping me see the light that was coming toward me to run me over.

This sounds like a very good first step. I have been told many times that the key now is to stick to your guns, and stand firm. You indicated no contact, and that will be hard. As easy as you have kind of made it sound, being with someone for any amount of time, and then just cutting the strings is very hard, and will take a great amount of strength. Are you planning on telling your husband soon of what has been going on?

This is excellent news, Goblet! Stay strong, ask your H for support when the going gets tough, and you will make it!<p>So very happy for you!
