Okay,
I do have a logistical reason to communicate with WW by e-mail, despite being in Plan B. Here's (part) of a message from her this morning...
J.R.,
I noticed that you came by to pick up more of your stuff. Thank you
for vacuuming the carpet. You forgot some items that I have put in a
box for you and put in the spare room.
I need to know if you are still planning on taking the cats. I
expected that you would. If so, please let me know, as I am finding
it difficult as I say good bye to them each day, not knowing if they
will be there when I return. If you are not going to take them, or
would like another arrangement, please let me know (and return their
nail clippers as their claws need to be trimmed).
Also, I need to know when you will be moving the rest of your things.
How would you like me to deal with your mail?
(friend) left a message on our machine on Saturday regarding ---
tickets. I would have e-mailed you sooner, but I no longer have
internet access at home.
I hope you are well.
WW

Here is my planned response:
Hi,
I was assuming also that I'd get the cats, but wasn't sure about your expectations. I hope to have more time to deal with things next week, and so if possible, I will take part of a day (tenatively next Monday) to stop by during the day to get them and a few more items. I will let you know more about the larger items shortly.
Thanks,
J.R.

I figure this is all business, to the point, and doesn't veer into controversy!

J.R. - I agree that stuff like this cannot be avoided, assuming you don't have an intermediary.
WAT

J.R., WAT:
Sorry to jump in here, but I was wondering if you two could take a look at my thread: http://www.marriagebuilders.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=29&t=001648
and let me know what you think. J.R., because you contacted OM, and WAT because you have contacting OPS in your guidelines. Also, because I am a little worried that something might happen in this email between my W and OM that I can't be prepared for because I don't know what's being said.
thanques!

Sounds very to the point...no talk about anything but the matters at hand. Her letter sounds like she's cooled off a bit too. Maybe the panic is dying off. Some communication is unavoidable. You're not meeting any needs so it sounds fine.
