God.
I started to look at all the pictures and started crying.Seeing everyone's faces make all the pain here much more real.It' so sad to me.I don't think I could ever post my face here.It's like the children on the milk carton.

It's a many-meaning name, with links to other parts of our family all over the place. Here's part of the naming announcement we sent out, in much kinder days.
In Latin, the word means "youth." How appropriate for her just now, and perhaps far into the future -- [WP's] grandmother is still young at heart, even as she moves toward her 93rd birthday.
In French, it means a bond or binding, as in a bond between people. We certainly have that, and I think she's strengthened a lot of bonds between people in the last few days.
In Hebrew it's "God has answered me." After three years and all the work and tears and joy, well... yeah. I think so.
In Greek, it's traced to the root Helios, the sun. She's light and sunshine and warm days in the late spring.
For those who enjoy botany and environmental issues, you'll be happy to know that 'liana' is a tropical rainforest woody vine. It is also, for the technically oriented, a C++-like programming language. To link it back to
the things we do, the LI in the programming language stands for Language Interpreter. Perhaps she'll take after Mommy!
Finally, for the laughter value, the Liana is a car made by Suzuki, which has the following description attached to it. "The Liana looks compact because it -is- compact." Ha! If you'd met her, you would understand why that's so perfect.
