I found out I only have 32 years left, so there's no golden wedding anniversary in my future, I guess, even if I find the man of my dreams or even if I stay with this one. <p>http://forums.compuserve.com/script...iabetesForum&FID=6092&FVF=1/.HTM

Well, I have 33 years left...or 50 if I marry my teenaged daughter off by the end of the summer.<p>Conquerer, I'm reminded of the line from Steele Magnolia's that went something like.."I'd rather have a moment of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special"

Conqueror - <p>For all the people that think Plan A can make you a doormat I have some results that show it realy is about me (or you). I have lost weight (I realy didn't need this), cut my drinking (probably not a problem), increased my exercise (I needed to burn off energy), have learned to react better to stress (we all could do this), and quit smoking (yes this sucks right now). I took the test both with my prior habits and new way of living and the changes have added several years.<p>Do I realy believe I will live longer, not necessarily, but at least statistically some of the things I have been working on may help me. Of course I realize things like the smoking are bad. If there is anything good about what I am going through in my marriage, I can at least know that I am making some changes that I was not able to do before.
