Well, my precious D is with me this weekend. I asked her if Miss Melissa from her daycare is still her baby sitter when Mommy and Mr. Person (as she calls OM) go out. She says, "yeah, she baby sat me last Thursday, Mommy and Mr. Person went to see Dr. ____". Dr. ____ is the minister at XW's church, by the way the same minister who married us in 1988. Then without being asked anything further, D says, "Dr. ______said cancel the wedding". Holy sh#*!!!! I thought it best not to ask her anything further, it is best not to probe into X's matters with the children.
I have no idea what this means, it may be nothing, so I can't spend a lot of time thinking about it.
Is this bizarre or what?

cat, That is bizarre, she's what 6? They have a pretty good clue of life by that age. You were right in not asking anymore questions.
I know that it will be very hard for you with not having the info validated. I was in the same boat last weekend wondering if WH had moved OW to UT with him, he didn't, but couldn't really ask either. Hard!! Hang tuff!!!
I too was left for the HS sweetheart thing!! UGH, took 20 years to figure out that she was truly the one he was intended to be with, so what was the time with me and fathering 3 children, you don't do that if you're not sure do you?
Sorry for rambling!
Dawn

Thanks for posting daybreak.
Yeah, isn't it something how they can feel soooooo connected to someone from their youth they were with for maybe 2 or 3 years and just forget that they spent 80% or 90% of their adult life making a family? My XW has known this guy since 7th grade and he was a total derelict, hasn't even gotten his GED, and he's 45 years old!
I'm told that these type of relationships from youth that are rekindled are very deep. Is that what you see?
