I am one year younger than my FWH.
OW was supposed to be exactly my age, to the month. I was very surprised though, when I called her up and met with her. She definately looked older than me (IMHO) . To my shock, her looks and mannerisms were so much like my MIL that I couldn't shake the thought through the whole meeting.
When I came home and mentioned it to my H he said hadn't seen it before but now that I'd mentioned it there were strong similarities.

You can count me in on the older BS
I'm nearly (4 yrs. 8 mos. but who's counting. ) five years (almost 50 ) older than FWH.
FWH is 45.
OW is 43.
TinyDancer,
There does seem to be a lot of older BSs now that you mention it.
Much love to all,

Wow thanks everyone. I know there's some pattern here but I'm not analytical enough to figure it out lol. I thought my H's former OW was 46 but it turns out she's 50!

well, it seems that there are several of us BW that are older than the WH. I'm wondering if it has more to do with maybe we were/are mother-figures? Did we take care of their problems for them? Were we the "responsible ones" (pay the bills, keep appointments, think things through, keep the house, etc)? Perhaps, they grew tired of the "mother-figure" and searched for someone that was more "fun", less nurturing, less responsible, etc.
On the contrary, some of them apparently found a MORE dominant OW.... so... I dunno!
