Hi Faith, I too hope that he reads it and legally defends himself.
The way I see it is that since she left him and filed for divorce, she now is like any other stranger that comes to the house and has no business entering the house when he's not around. A stranger entering our homes when we are not around is called a thief and if caught can be charged with not only theft but with breaking and entering as well.
Have a good one.

Well Faith1 and TMCM,
I just returned form court. After meeting with my attorney before our hearing, and my attorney speaking with her attorney, here is how it goes.....
We have an agreed order that I am to allow her access for 2 hours this Saturday, without me being present, to allow her to retrieve her clothing that may remain here, and a couple of other personal items. Period. Nothing else. Her attorney obviously didn't want to go before the judge with the massive evidence my attorney had against my WW. The WW wasn't even present, and her attorney didn't consult with her as to this agreement. I guess he wanted to save face.
OK....She had listed the quilts. Bad idea. If she hadn't listed them, then she could have taken them when she comes her Saturday, and then I would have had to use the court to get them back. Since she let me know that was coming (Bad idea on her part), I responded to the motion that there was a question of the quilts being marital property, so she IS NOT to remove ANY of them from the residence, until that matter is settled.
It is obvious that she is not cooperating with her attorney. Bad move.
I still love her, but....If this is her game, I'll play it the best way I can, too.
I can still reside here, and nothing was mentioned about allowing her ANY kind of access other than what is in the agreed order.
So....in essence....not only did she not get ANYTHING she wanted, she actually went downhill.
hcii

hcii,
Thanks for the update.
I'm sorry you're having to go through this. Divorce just plain sux - no matter how you slice it. I have to say I'm glad things went in your favor today - as far as the locks, and her access. I was hoping for that.

Keep us posted.

I have to say I'm glad things went in your favor today - as far as the locks, and her access. I was hoping for that.

By the way....Looking for some advice here.....
Here in the "rural bible belt", we have always been the kind to "circle the wagons" when a family member is in some sort of trouble or crisis. I was wondering this.....
I have no brothers, but do have 6 sisters and Mom is still living. Needless to say, my sisters and Mom are "biting nails into" about right now with the fact that she had the A, and then wants to make life hard on me with a Dv.
Although I admire my Mom and sister's support, I think that doing everything I can alone would be a big psychological advantage for me, even towards reconciliation, should I still want it after she pounds on me (I just about know she will). I was thinking along the lines that she would see a "stronger" me, which I have always been the Giver in the M, which may subconciously impress her. I will admit there are times that I am sure will come that support from my family would be sorely needed and appreciated, but I think that should only happen when the WW and her family doesn't see it. Take today, for instance, even though WW wasn't present in court, I had told my family to let me go it alone so I could let her see that I can stand on my own, and that may in turn keep me from being pushed around. I am sure that when things get a liitle rough further into this situation, the WW's Dad and Brother will be lurking somewhere.
So....wouldn't it be to my advantage to basically "go it alone" through this (at least in the physically-seen aspect), than to let WW and her family think I can't?
I am looking at it from a two-fold advantage. Number one being that my character will stand out stronger to her, and #2 that my character will stand out stronger to her family which may keep them at bay and from confrontations initiated by them.
Although....many more "bleeping" stunts like today from her is going to really cut hard into any feelings I have left for her. I know that as far as my feelings go, after all I have been through, she is treading on thin ice about now.
The big thing that makes it worse is even after what she had done, I offered MY hand out to her, and she smacked it away.
She either better come around real quick, 'cause the ice is thin and its 85 degrees, or slow down on the arrogance and nastiness.
hcii
