I am 6 years older than my H. When we met, I didn't know he was younger than I am. I thought he might be around my age, maybe a year or two younger. (He looked older)
By the time I found out his age, I was hooked. Could this be part of the problem, he wants a woman closer to his age?
Is there any other W older than their H?
What is your opinion

Sue, You may have seen this already, but I thought you might find it interesting.
Poll for Betrayed Wives
I'm not sure how to answer your question about him "looking" for someone his own age. You might want to focus more on what EN's the OW met/meets for him. Age difference or not... WS's are usually getting needs met that weren't there in the marriage.

Faith1 thanks. I looked on the link.
What you says makes sense. I know before we had kids, I used to be fun. Could drop what I was doing and go. After kids, couldn't do that anylonger. I could not just run at 10pm at night and go to a party. How do you get a babysitter at 10pm?

I am 12 years older than my husband...and I don't think our age difference has anything to do with any of our other problems.
However, having said that, everyone is different and while my husband does love me, crowsfeet, grey hair and all, he tends to be attracted to younger women as far as looks go. I have explained 'Debora's theory' on all this but here it is in a nutshell:
Caveman days: life expectancy was short and men looked for young, healthy mates to propagate the species while women looked for older, wiser mates thinking that if they had outrun the sabretoothes longer than the other, perhaps they would be able to protect them better as well. Essentially men are looking for fertility and women for stability.
