I'm not much of a techie, but I really like being able to click on the forum recent visitors link (above the # logged in), seeing who is on, where last seen, being able to call up their profile and then see what they have posted recently.

I also like that after posting, when taken back to the thread, you are taken to your post, it saves me a step because I usually try to recheck my posts for...well, y'know, stupid stuff <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> .

Another plus... when doing a "search", it returns 300 results instead of 200. And it sorts beginning with MOST RECENT!!! Very good!

I agree with all of these comments, very positive changes.

Only problem; the narrow screen view...I liked it better full-screen width...easier to read.

I approve also -- however when I tried the "checking on who is signed on" I noticed that HONEY was on the list, and now I'm wondering why we haven't gotten an update.

Nice Thread LL. I am sure that the admins appreicate the positive feedback. Its nice to get a pat on the back once in a while and know that your users do notice and appreciate the hard work.

I'm not wild about the fixed column width either, but that's probably a setting that can be changed. My real concern is that performance has dramatically dropped for browsing.

Oooooh, I like it now too! At first, with the small screen issue and slower loading time...I thought...ewwwwww. But, I'll take the slowness as long as I get the full screen! It looked like a tiny little bandaid strip on the side of this 19" monitor before...now it's ALLLLL betta!

I like the changes too! But when I replied to a post a few minutes ago, I was automatically logged out again! I guess it's a good thing I don't write as many replies as I used to!

When you are on the General Question II main page (the page that shows all the topics)... at the top you'll see a little link (blue I think) that says "12 logged in users, and 35 guests". You can click on that and it shows who's logged in. You can click on each member for more info as well. You can also see how many people are reading each topic.

Well I thought it was ME who brought the system down that night!!! Whew! I was up (late as usual) and this time trying very hard to post on d/d and use the URL stuff to make it look smart like the rest of u savy MBers. Anyway, it kept erroring out and then POOF! I lost MB completely. I had already written my post but now the link looked lost!!! LOL! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

So I had to wait until it came back up again and then I couldn't log in!!! Oh no??? Will I be banned for breaking MB? Will all the users send the LB Fairie for crashing the site? Yep, these crazy thoughts ran through my head. LOL!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Then I saw the message that it was coming up at 7am. Logged on and the screen shrank!! more disappointment!! Now I had a readjustment to the color background.... ok then my shortcut didn't work, kept taking me to the home page and I wanted to read up on the posts!!! Arrgh...... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" /> Ok, calm down Orchid, I said..... it'll be working soon. Then I was able to get in and made a post or 2 then poof got kicked out! Ok, was it really time to leave MB? Hm...... U know, I just got thinking!! LOL!

I am glad Lor started this post, many pointed out the good stuff that I had not experienced yet. Some downers are when you page down it seems to take you into the blue land of nothing but a blue screen and it is a bit slower. Also you can only put 8 graelims per post. Acccck!

The other stuff I think is great. Well U have to have 1 grouchy person in this bunch right? ??? So I guess I'll stick around for a while longer. K?

Did you notice that you can now preview your post in the format that will appear on the forum BEFORE you post it? Saves all those "Edited by..." lines.

Also like that if you post a reply from page 2 you can scroll down and read the thread from page 1 as well.

Ooooh, I just noticed that the graemlins can be added later to the middle of a post, not just at the end where you have to highlight and then drag it up. Cool. Just tried the bold function, and you can now go back and add it anywhere you want to also.
