UK er,

I don't participate in those - I put my faith and trust in the Lord. He can tell you what you need to know.

God Bless,

D.

yeah, and it worked like this:

A guy sent 1000 letters out, in 500 of them he wrote "I predict that stock X will go up" an in the other 500 he wrote "I predict that stock X will go down".
Next, a week later he sent another 500 letters, but only to the guys who received the correct first prediction. 250 of those stated that "stock Y will go up" and the other lot said "stock Y will go down".
And so on.
Finally, in the final letter he wrote:
"Look - I gave you now 5 correct predicions in a row. That's the crystal clear proof that my prediction method works. So, to get the next prediction, please pay £££ on my account!"

So much about predicitons, tarot & the lot.

UK-er I have to say I don't believe in any of that- I believe god knows our future and if we seek Him for answers He will give them to us. These other things will get things right sometime because of the law of averages but that doesn't mean they are the right way to live.

I will tell you this:

When I was having my affair (ugh, I hate saying 'my affair'), the wife of the OM pulled out the tarot cards and we did a reading.

Oddly enough, every card that came up was about treachery and deceit surrounding her. AND

I read my own cards about the affair and how it would end---they predicted that her marriage to OM would end in disaster and that my marriage would survive and be a happy one.

Strangely enough, this all came to pass.

I just remembered this: When I first started reading cards, my son's friend came over and I read him. One of the cards about his present situation was the Empress holding a baby---he told me he had just found out his gf was preg. AND one of his cards said he may need dental work--I looked at him with a puzzled look--he grinned and showed me the tooth he had just broken off.
When I read his GF's card---again the Empress came up.

And that's all I have to say about that.

don't be sorry and you didn't upset everyone. You reached out and asked for opinions and you got them. Keep posting. Keep reaching out.

Well, I got a fortune cookie in December of 2001, that said something like "You'll have a special visit from a old friend" a few weeks later my ex-wife and I got back together. Confucious knew!!!

I actually emailed a psychic about our situation at one point. I've always thought that tarot reading, horoscopes, and fortune cookies were fun! She was wrong about our situation though (thank goodness!!).

Didn't upset me!

I do the tarot for fun...according to the books I have, each card has so many, contradictory interpretations that you can make them mean just about anything you want them to.

I just thought it was weird how those readings came out. And when I read my h's for the first time, his 'past' card was the Empress, the strong ruling woman...he was a big old mama's boy who had just left home for the first time when we married...at age 27! His mother did everything for him, laundry, bills, everything. That was strange, too.
