How can I find out whose phone # it is when it's unlisted ?
Also how find out from cell phone # ?

You could have a private investigator get it for you. I had one and he told me he could get me any numbers that I needed.... Good luck...

You can do a 'reverse search' on the white pages. This means you key in the number, and it should bring up the caller, if they are listed.
I am not sure how to do it for a cell phone, but I know some people here have used the net to find out account details about them.

Good question, does anyone know? As far as anywho.com, that works only for listed numbers. Any of the search engines I've used have not been helpful with "unlisted". Getting ahold of a cell phone number is equally as difficult.

I found out so much using the internet. A company out of Florida. I gave them the phone number, and got a name. Then I used the name to gather the rest of the OM's personal PUBLIC information. It ran me alot of money years ago... but I assume you can do it pretty cheap now. I don't remember the name of the company or the site, but basically they are Internet PI's.
Things I got.
Cell phone
Home phone
all past and present address
vehicle registration information
driving record information
criminal history and background information
rental / home purchase information
divorce/marriage certificate information\
yada yada yada. You get what you pay for... but I was able to find out everything.. For me the Criminal Background was the most damaging for their relationship.

Husband2you I think throughout this whole experience I am becomming an "INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST" Criminal record, never thought about that one !
I haven't been able to get a home unlisted number, but I did get the cell phone number by just calling back & eventually the message came on ! duh! Too bad this only works when there actually is a message recorded. Turns out OW2 got new cell phone # , I thought it might be OW #3. No wonder WH wants to get a nextel phone now, cuz ow2 has one and they can talk for FREE.
(Little does he know how much this is actually costing him!)

ahha! Thanks RedHat!! okay... the guy I use is at Discreet Research His name, the owner back in 1999 was Scott. I haven't used the services since then but from my experience and the information I used, his resources were invaluable to discovery of all the previous information that I needed. RedHat you reminded me of the address when you put discreet in your reference <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> Hope this all helps... and like I said before, happy searching.

Redhat aka gumshoes, Thanks fror the warning label! I just wanted to see if cell phone was for OW#3 or what. It wasn't - #2 got new number. I called & she answered "Hello? .... Hello?..... Hello?.... All the while I could hear my WH on his cell phone in the background "I'll be in shortly,yadda yadda yadda."
