He is saying "I love YOU" all over the place. Can ya believe it?
and last night, he gave me a new 'nickname.' "Sweetness" Twice. He called me it twice!
We've had some terrific conversations...
One of the 'things' I have noticed and been a little 'fearful' over is that we seem to be repeating the SAME events in our marriage. scarey!
Financial woes.
Stress of finding a new place to live.
He is 'unemployed.'
Struggling w/ 'chores.'
Ahhh... the difference...
Me: Have you noticed how it seems like we are repeating some of the same things in our marriage from the last few years?
H: Yep, but WE are handling them DIFFERENTLY. Isn't God great? We are learning and applying what we've learned.
I am blown away because I was going to make the SAME observation about our handling things differently
Me: Yeah, I was going to say that too... It makes me feel GREAT that we are on the same page.
He has also been revealing some 'personal' stuff.
Me: You've never told me that before.
H: Just like you weren't telling me your stuff before.
How can it be that I am, after 15 years w/ my H, just now really getting to know him and him, me? Praise God, ya'll.

thanks, I really needed that!! As you can see my D-day was a couple of months before yours but I only found MB a few months ago.

Cali, That is awesome!!! Don't you think that we did think we knew them, but really knew only what we wanted to know!!! The good stuff, and it takes a scare of losing it all to really listen to the person that we married. I am so glad for the two of you that you asked the Lord into your life and your marriage and that you are sharing, not just talking to one another!!! BTW how is your sister doing?
