For you Plan B'ers and Tough Lover's:
What did your WS do when you gave them their freedom?
How long did it take until you heard from them?

It's been almost 3 weeks for me, and I haven't heard a word (not unless you count him asking about one of the dogs.)

I know it's early....but do you think there's still hope???? This is pretty scary to think I may never hear from him again.

Thanks for listening, dear friends.

Actually, I'm thinking my WH must really be enjoying his freedom with the OW, and his private life. How long could this last????

Well my WS has just taken off with her new freedom. Let's see she goes out with her coworkers often after work for drinks. She goes out on the weekends to clubs and bars. She goes to the beach. The other man was out of the picture back in December but I have a gut feeling that there is someone else in the picture now because of her behavior. I only spoke once to WS in the last three weeks. That was when she called and said I need this, and I need that from the house. I told her I will get the stuff to someone mutual when I can.
Is there a chance? Maybe there is but it appears that my WS is stuck in the fog and she can't find the light house. Sad to say say that she has given up her relationship with me and her family. Her grandmother is here from Europe and my wife chooses to spend more time with her friends then visiting with her grandma. Her grandma is 81 and she should be spending time with her. I guess just another person that my wife has hurt in a bad way.
Do I hope she decides to work on it, yes. But I have to also be prepared incase that doesn't happen. Someone have a bandaide big enough that will cover the whole in my heart?

I did a poll a while ago that had a question related to length of Plan B / separation, I believe... I think the median answer was 3-6 months for those who reconciled. But I think the "mode" (i.e. most frequent answer) was "More than 6 months".

Sorry... probably not what you wanted to hear... I'm in the same boat...

But know this... especially with a "tough" Plan B stance, the WS is NOT having a great, wonderful time, especially if you did a really good Plan A, and they know what you're "worth" to them.

For example... I let down my guard a bit and I saw my WW on our anniversary recently. We talked, caught up a bit, things were pretty relaxed - hey, I'm going to be "Mr. Plan A for life", regardless. Anyhow, at one point in the evening, she wanted a hug... which then set her off into tears... and snot... and I could clearly see that she's an emotional MESS right now. She admits she misses me... she seems MUCH less angry with me... yet is still "stuck". Her little hamster (i.e. brain) is running in its little wheel, all action, getting nowhere. But she's starting to see reality by being forced to live in it... and that means NO ME. So she's NOT HAPPY.

Don't be fooled... not many WS can pull off feeling great while in Plan B. The ones who can... I say cut 'em loose!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

Confused Guy...I hear and feel your pain. I pray that you will start to feel some kind of peace in Plan B. Hopefully your WW will begin to realize what she could be losing. Read J.R.'s response above, it really made me feel better!
I'll pray for you!

J.R. Thanks for the wonderful reply...I pray you're right about the WS not being able to pull off being happy in Plan B. Wow, that's neat that your WW admits that she misses you! I would love to hear that from my WH.
Time to be patient some more...and I know what you mean about Plan A'ing for life!
