I don't know how to act, what to say. He made himself totally unavailable to anyone for a week..I couldn't believe he could be so insensitive and foolish. H is being very evasive regarding future plans....job change and move were in the works but now he's staying put and will look for his own place soon. Until then he will stay in a local hotel. He wants to reconnect with the kids after 5 weeks and they don't even want to see him. We need to discuss finances and responsibilities but I don't think I can allow him in our home....we'll have to meet in a neutral setting. I'm so distraught and dreading our face to face. I've been such a wreck this past month, watching money disappear and charges racking up. He's been on vacation and deceiving his boss regarding his whereabouts. I don't know if anyone at his company is aware of the on-going affair with the co-worker. I know I have to move into a Plan B...it's just so hard to face it after all the work I did over the past 6 months. I just wish my H had had the strength to survive withdrawal for more than 3 weeks. He's abandoned his family for over a month, with hardly any contact. I not sure what will happen this week-end.

Sounds like you need to get a bit tougher, WG. Meet, agree on finances, seeing the children, and time to cut him loose. Plan B...make sure he knows he can't just do this and come back to your open arms!

Strength, vision, fortitude!
Stay focused, WG.

Dear SC,
I know I do need to be tough and strong. He knows there are no open arms for him this time. I told him that today in an e-mail, which he's chosen not to respond to. It's just so difficult when you've loved someone for over thirty years and then you're tossed aside for a sl#t with no morals or conscience. How can he justify the hurt and damage he's caused his four children? I'm not sure how we'll survive the mess he's created...emotionally or financially. Why does love have to hurt so much?

Wintergal,
I don't know what gets into our WH's!!!???
They are like aliens from another planet, not the same man we married. My WH just got his own apt., and the kids and I have sold the house and are moving into a 2 bdr. apt. Big changes, plus I'm starting a new job. I feel like everything's happening to me at once.
I sympathize with you in your situation, and agree with Space that it's time to cut him loose, and go to Plan B. You'll feel much better. I will too as soon as I get this move over with, and I won't have to see him then.

Wintergal -- No words of wisdom here. Went through the same thing during the A with WH "disappearing" not showing up for work and not telling me where he was. It's very nerve-wracking. I agree with SC and KK -- it's probably time to go to plan B after this episode.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
