The calls from my W continue. Seems we talk more now than before I moved out. She called today to ask if she should bring our daughter's bathing suit home from daycare. Huh? Was that really worth calling about? She also asked if I could stop by the house tomorrow to let the dog out because she's going out after work. I wanted to take the dog for the weekend anyway, but she didn't know that and it's hardly the point. She doesn't want me as her H and I'm trying to walk away, but she won't let me. I thought she'd be happy to finally have me out of her life. Time to start seriously considering plan B. Either I can be her H in every sense of the word or simply the father of her daughter. There is no in between.
Something strange from yesterday. We had a court date today for our custody agreement to be entered. Neither of us had to be there, but she told me she was going anyway. She didn't give me a reason and I didn't ask. I wonder if she's up to something? I guess my lawyer will let me know if there's anything to be concerned about.

Maybe she is missing you. Maybe she is realizing what an idiot she has been now that you aren't right there to be taken advantage of. I agree about being her H in every sense. Not just when convenient for you. Maybe plan B is a solution. Thinking of you layli

Hey Saddad, it's hard to say if she has something up her sleeve or if she just wants to be there to make sure nothing goes unexpected. I think it's a GREAT idea that she goes there...I think court will drill home the reality of the situation. Hopefully it will scare some sense in to her.
You sound just like my hubby when I seperated from him. I didn't REALLY want to lose him, but I couldn't seem to find the right path to be taking to become an US again either. All my actions and words left him to believe that I didn't want him...yet each time he tried to move on I would jump fence again and try to hold on.
I would tell you to go to Plan B...but Steve said to hang in there a while longer. Chances are the phone calls will taper down as she becomes more comfortable being alone. And in the meantime...you're maintaining a good relationship. That's really good for your D.

h4f,
I guess my lawyer would have let me know if "she was up to something" by going to court. She couldn't change anything in our agreement without my consent.
I'll wait it out a couple more weeks to see if the calls continue before doing something. They have tapered off a bit. I don't want her to think that my avoidance of her is because I've given up. Whether it's thru a plan B letter or just a letter, I do want to let her know that I still believe we can have a happy, fulfilling marriage, but that I can't continue to be a part of her life unless it's as her H, it's just too painful. I guess that's plan B. It's only been two weeks since I moved out, but I'm surprised she hasn't mentioned selling the house. Thanks!
