Today I am in a much better place of spirit and mind!!

And I wish to thank all of you for helping me through a very rough spot in my life.

I just thought that I had already worked through so much of that, and here I was again, so feelings of failure and despair were allowed in and I wasn't strong enough to fight them off on my own, I needed help!!

Thank you for that help, and I hope that I will be there if one of you are in need.

Hi Dawn,
I am so happy that you are feeling better today! You are always there for so many of us....it is the least we could do for you! Sometimes, we just need to "vent" our feelings and when that happens, there is no better place than MB. Hugs to you Dawn!

BTW - thanks for asking about my house, etc. Things here are OK. I'll post an update later today. My kids are visiting WS and OW today for the first time, so I'm sure I'll have a lot to write about!! Thanks again for asking!

So glad to hear you are doing better today. It always amazes me how you go through these peaks and valleys. Hopefully, they get to be more like hills and meadows.

I am almost done painting the bedroom. It looks great. I have 1 more wall to do. Better get back to work. Take care Pat

daybreak - those mountains, going up and down are so hard to deal with. But believe me, they will get smaller. I didn't believe that one bit either, but now I am seeing them slowly chiseling down. Tell yourself every morning that you are a good person. That you did what you could to save the marriage, that you are a person that has good qualities. Just pick one thing to say good about yourself in the morning. I have done this and it has helped. Also, from first STep Program for battered wives, I got this battered wife syndrome wheel, on how a controller mistreats their spouse. My WH really is on the wheel about 95%, and that has really helped me get through this stuff. Just to hear other women say, what their husbands are saying to them, and I am amazed at the same statements I hear. This is validation that we are not the ones that are bad, or crazy, this has helped me tremendously. I am so surprised about the same statements they hear I hear. What a relief to know you are a good person.
