Yup, I always knew when hubby was looking sharp and smelling good that he was heading out to meet someone that wasn't me!!!
You bet...time for a change in the cologne. How bout piercing your nipple and wearing a leather vest?

Oh, intangibles are non-products, like consulting, services, and such.

No no...the computergeek would be me. Take the map of the US and fold it in half both ways...I'm right there in the middle...of Nebraska, which I think fits the description of nowhere pretty well!!!
As for the OUCH, well...this was during our seperation and while I was insisting that divorce was what I wanted etc etc.... What did I expect?? Hubby was only doing what I TOLD HIM to do...move on. Anyway, the cologne got me every time, because he did smell ooooh soooo goood.
I'm doing an internet search on intangibles. I get that it's service and knowlege exchange...not a product. But I'm still not quite "getting" what jobs that would include. Probably not many I can do from this area!!! Never know though...it's interesting to research.

Space,
Forget the cologne. Try a tiny little splash of perfume on your collar. Or a smuge of lipstick.

So you evaluate the problem, devise a solution, and sell the services for doing that to the CEO.
A sales presentation there would describe the problem, how that conclusion was reached, and how much it's costing, describe the solution and how IT was reached, describe the work your team is going ot do to change this situation , and how much it's going to cost, compared to how much it is going to save his comany....you get the picture...

Bear in mind this is a guy who is ABSOLUTELY predictable and conservative dress-wise. I mean going out on a limb for me fashion-wise would be something like leaving one more button unbuttoned from my shirt. (Don't get the wrong idea, I'm pretty liberal and modern, just not very "tuned" or interested in the latest fashion).
And if I didn't love Pep so much, I'd be hammering her on this "everyone in Texas has a gun" line!

Mr. Pepper has oodles of relatives in New Braunfels (I think that's the spelling) .... I was last there Easter 2000 .... I hope the latest flood hasn't washed away the entire town.

You see there are Texans, and then there are Texans: you take your New Braunfels Texan, and by golly, he only removed the gun rack from the pickup when it became illegal, and he still has a bumper-sticker that says something about guns and cold dead fingers.
And then there are Houston Texans; cosmopolitan, educated, worldly, with a bit of western spunk throwed in!
And THEN, there's Austin Texans; bunch of long-haired hippies, more liberal and high than Berkeley-ites...but just short of psychotic like those LA basin folk! (Boy, am I gonna get it for this one! ) [ August 09, 2002, 03:58 PM: Message edited by: Spacecase ]

You guys make me laugh.
Hey, I live in GA in an area were the law still requires every household own a gun. Believe you me, I am care---ful.
I still think it would be fun to have just a tiny splash of Obsession or something like that.

It is most definately still quite legal in Texas (God Bless Texas) to carry a rifle or shotgun virtually anywhere, loaded or unloaded. (Including in your E-Z Rider Rifle Rack)
And yes, there are at least 5 guns per person in Texas. Obviously, some own more, some own less or none. They are a bit more gun crazy in GA, I hear...

SC,
Be VERY VERY careful about what you say concerning Austin. So keep your hands in sight and back away slowly. Got it???
By the way, I will be in YOUR town in a few months of a big meeting. Maybe we can tip one or two?

Gotta Love It! No matter what anyone says, when we're talkin' Texas, everyone's got something to say...from our NRA gun-totin' Mama, to our Green Ralph Nader bumper-sticker crowd! And pretty darn near everything in between!
I Love Texas!
