I got my unoffical ExCet results & I passed both tests. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> I am now or will be when all the paper work is turned in certified to teach in TX.

Too bad with my still bad self esteem I thought I failed, so really didn't push looking for a teaching job but now I can apply & not feel so stupid.

I can now get teacher sub pay.

Dear sing,

Congratulations from a fellow Texas teacher. Forgive me for not knowing your field or town. Where are you?

We started in-service today. Booooo.... I live in Odessa, way out west in the oil patch. I teach junior high science in a gifted/talented magnet program.

Congratulations for passing the ExCet. Now go out and get that job. We still have a few openings out here.

Estes

JL, Thanks. as always for the kind words!!

Estes, I was hoping you see this. I think Odessa might be a tad far for me, I am right out of H-town. Social Studies composite 6-12, the field that is saved for coaches. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" /> Don't get me wrong, I like coaches, I think we need those deicated men & women but only if they put their teaching 1st.

Pepper, you are so funnny. Thanks.

Ya Sing!!!! I am sooo proud of U!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Pass the test? Never doubted it. In fact I am more surprised that you have low self esteem. I never would have felt that from your posting here.

We need to celebrate. Where is JTW? We need a song..... E are you out there? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Congrats teach!

That's great, Sing! The local school districts can use better people, I'm glad you'll be one of them!

If you end up at Dulles HS, you'll run into my kids! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

Hi Sing- I am proud of you, I thought you were already a teacher... I guess you were- somewhere else? Good luck, maybe you can find fulltime with benefits if you hurry! I know houston is short on teachers.
