Princess! Ok, it's time for a change. I have been waiting for this day. I mentioned it in a post not too long ago, and it has finally come. I have been wanting to change my screen name to fit more with the growth of my marriage.
My DH used to always call me his Little Princess or just Princess. It's been awhile since he had. I've mentioned in the past how I miss it and how much I liked it so. As of recent I decided I wasn't going to say anything. I wanted to change my name to the loving name my DH calls me, but I couldn't do that if I prompted him to call me it.
So, I decided I'd wait till the next time he calls me it and then I will celebrate the beauty of the progress (has real meaning and he would then have said it because he felt it and wanted to say it) with a screen change here.
Well, it happened yesterday. DH had to leave to go to Texas, as many of you know, and in the morning when I dropped him off at work we exchanged a lot of hugs and kisses. He said he wasn't worrying and that he was believing in me and us. Then he did it - He called me Princess. I cried, of course.
Ok, so now that I've shared that I'm going to go do the change. I'll share more about the trip stuff later. Thanks everyone for reading. I'll be back later to share some day 1 of trip info. (under my new name).

Hey RIF - Thanks for the positive thoughts.
Ok, here it is. The weekend was good, but crazy getting all ready for DH's trip. Monday morn. I had to take DH to work. We gave lots of hugs and kisses, and I cried. He held me and kept his tears back, but you could see they wanted to spill. DS did pretty good, but I don't think it quite hit him yet.
DH and I talked several times through the day. A couple of times before his plane left - at which I cried then too. He was really so very sweet though. He called me when he got into Texas and I was so happy to hear from him. I did ok for the early evening. Had dinner at my parents, and played outside with DS. Called DH for DS to say good-night. He was on his way to dinner with his dad (boss), and we agreed we'd talk later.
DH called me at about 10:30. We talked for a good half hour, and never once ran out of things to say. It was so nice. I cried some more and told him how much it sucked and how much I miss him and love him. I asked how he is doing and told him that it's ok to talk to me about his feelings. He said he was a little scared and just trying to believe. I said it was ok to feel that way. I reassured him that I won't let him down and that I will be faithful. He asked if I was behaving and I said yes (plus I never took offense to it either). It was wonderful to talk to him.
DH called me again at 12:30 AM. He couldn't sleep. His dad snores horendously. We talked for a little and he said I should go and get some sleep. I talked a few more minutes and we got off the phone. Again, I cried while on the phone. Anxiety is killing me, but we are working through it well so far. I have anxiety about his feelings and how I don't want him to go through that, and I have anxiety about being alone without him. I cried last night 'cause he made a comment about how he forgot how lonely it is. I said I am so sorry for ever leaving you alone, and that I would never do it again. I also told him how lonely I felt also. It was a good moment though.
DH called again this morning before I left for work. He was in a pretty good mood considering he got very little sleep. He smiled (I could hear it) and said he just got my message. I put messages in his hand held - one for each day. I also put a little note inside one of his pair of undies. Plus, I sent him an e-mail - which I think he got today. He sent me one today too.
I had packed some cookies with a note in them for his plane trip, but he forgot the container, so I UPSed them to him so he'll get them tomorrow (he doesn't know this).
I guess it's going ok. I hope that the remainder of the trip stays as smooth as the first 24 hrs. went. I miss him so darn much though. I can't wait till he comes home. Hell, I can't wait to talk to him tonight.
Thank you all for sharing this with me. I'm so glad I have something good to report, and it feels good to know how much all of you care. Thank you.

Princess,
Somehow, that suits you well.
I'm happy to hear the latest. Hopefully someday I will have a story like that to share to.
Congratulations.

Thank you Kily. So good to hear from you. I hope you are doing well - or as well as can be expected.
Kily, know this, a year ago I would have never realized things would be this good today. Keep your chin up and keep the faith. Keep working on you and take things slow and be patient. My best to you always.

Thanks Space. Yeah, Tut's pretty cool, but Princess is a milemarker for me. It makes me very pleased to have reached this point. Thanks for sharing it with me.
