Ok, just read all the redhot posts...and wanted to let you know - yes, you Elizabeth Wilkie - that I have been reading your posts for months now, long before I registered. You are a woman of amazing grace under what must be extraordinary circumstances. I want to make sure that you know everyone who has read your posts here in MB thinks that and appreciates you, too!
I live in Wisconsin, near Madison. I'm actually from Illinois, near Chicago, but love it here and would never move back.
Most of my family is all still in IL, so I'm down there all the time, but as soon as I cross the border I'm happy to be home. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
Thank you for being so kind. I can also be grumpy and I yell really loud - just ask my kids. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
I do the best I can, and it's really been cool to see that people have noticed.
I'm not from anywhere right now - but can I come watch you shop? Pretty please??? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
No, I wanna go to cheesedays! Grandma is sitting for the little one so that H and I can go out and join the hooplah!! I was actually born in Madison and much of my family is in that area. I love WI!! But NE is my home :-)
I assume you meant the Mall of America? I'm not a shopper, but I love browsing the Mall (except at christmas time, then I avoid it like it has the plaque)
I read this thread first than DAC's. Now I come back and this thread has gone to 'cheezebits'!!! LOL!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
I just want you to know that I was laughing so hard, I almost burned my dinner!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />
Not at you dear but at the reaction from the other site. The TOW board is painful to read but here at MB it teaches us balance and probably as a result a few lives have been spared. Maybe they will serve life sentences but at least they are still breathing (in the fog maybe but still alive).
You can still post at the more important sites. Your sense of humor and outlook on life despite what obstacles have been set before you still amazes me. I hope Sing won't mind but my hero list does contain more than one name and you are on it also. Not sure if it will get you anywhere, just wanted you to know.
take care and don't stop being who you are. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
Now you can go back to your cheese topic. By the way us Californians are suppose to have better cheese because our cows do the commercials!!! LOL!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
I can't afford the mall either. Especially now, kids school supplies, clothes, hockey fees, and now dance fees. EEEEK. What was I thinking when I wanted my kids to be involved in activities. (I blame my sister for the dance. She took my D to a dance recital, and all she does it bug us about dance.) If the boys are involved, we cannot leave her out.
