This is my first time at this site. Still trying to keep up with the lingo. So brief history...my H is military. Went to school in Jan, home in Mar, said he wasn't sure he loved me anymore. Denied another person. I am smart (sometimes too smart I guess) found him out via cell phone...he continued to tell me he was ending it, and then wouldn't. During this, we were getting ready to leave our home to go to another. (military life:)). When he left for next school, our daughter and I went to my parents as planned until we could join him (school was restricted to families). When he left, he told me he loved me, wanted to work things out....on way to school, he picked her up and they drove back as far as her father's house, together. I found out through my own digging. At that point, H began sending me letters, cards, etc. telling me how much he loved me, wanted me, and was so sorry. Before this, he was not sending me anything and still acted defensive. Now, our daughter and I are here at his school for his graduation and we are planning on staying together, moving to our next post, etc.

...whew. I am still concerned becaue he does not want to talk about his relationship with her. He says that he knows he needs to be more open now, and has agreed to counseling, but still does not think that answering my questions about the OW will help..does not see how it will help. I want to make this work. I just don't think that I can keep trying if I can't get answers...even if he doesn't see the point.. This is all still very hard, and I still have a problem believing that it is over with the OW, even though all of the old signs and the old trails he left (and there were many) are not there. Oh..he also says that there was never any sex..I told him that I don't believe that. Any comments or direction? It is nice to see that there are others who have been successful at getting past this. Thanks

Go back to the homepage & read all the material.

While these boards are very good the best resource are the articles by DR. Harely, the questions to be answered, other resources. If you haven't read Survivig an Affaire order today. Try to do some cousenling with the Harley's, thought not cheap, it is cheaper than a divcore & they can really help both you & your H come up with a plan that will help you restore your marriage.

Welcome & good luck.
