Hey BR-

I just picked up on something that you said in your response to someone else about the BS filing first for divorce.

In your story, you mentioned that you were going to have your H and the OP "hauled into court for psychological evaluations".

Keeping in mind that I am a fellow New Jerseyan <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> , could you elaborate on that? Was this something your attorney would have been able to do for you?

Can you tell I'm intrigued?

Hey!

Sorry I didn't see this. Alot of days especially during the week, I don't get on except very briefly. Working working working, thats me.

Yes this was something I was going to have my attorney do. I let him know that I was absolutely against my children having ANY contact whatsoever with OW. I had no idea who she was other than someone who willingly slept with married man and who had been in an physically abusive marriage, had her children molested by a boyfriend, and had slapped one of my husbands coworkers at a Christmas party. There was nothing Plan A about my divorce suit. It was flat out confrontational and nasty. Revenge? No. I had no intention of compromising my kids safety though or emotional wellbeing without a fight, so I planned to go in with both fists flying. I had serious problems with my husband's treatment of the kids, and I was going to court to ask the judge to grant visitation with restrictions on contact with OW. I was told that we couldn't do it without all three of us being put into court-ordered evaluations. I had NO problem with being evaluated. My attorney said his method was to go in and ask for everything I wanted, and hope that I would get some of it. He didn't mind being agressive, and in fact told me to my face that he was a shark.

BR-

Thanks for your reply.

However, I really don't think I can use this angle in my case. The OP in my situation is known to me and has been a friend to my wife and kids for years. Although I have never really known her that well. We never communicated much. I guess there was an underlying reason for that.

Who knows? Maybe I do have a basis for this. I'll have to consult my attorney...
