I think all of TX is one time zone. I think it will be Kelly. I may not be a teenager any more, but as far as "Idol" goes, I would not have picked Justin even as a teenager (then again, when I was a teen, I didnt' understand why my best friend thought Peter Frampton was a babe)LOL

Actually, El Paso is in Mountain Time zone.
The rest of Texas is Central...

Oh yeah, Justin looks like a sick freak.
Kelly is from DFW area, and she is going to win! [ September 04, 2002, 08:08 PM: Message edited by: Sad Tiger ]

Sorry Sad Tiger- I didn't realize that the western part of TX was in a different time zone. I lived for a short time in Nacogdoches, so I thought all of TX was central because Nacodoches was central. I moved away in '88 and I can still spell it and pronounce it.

I like the link. I didn't realize that El Paso was that far west. I never noticed that tip just under NM before.
Nacogdoches was beautiful. I missed my family and MN winters so I moved back (Yep, I missed the MN winters. need head examined). Sometimes I wish I was still there, but then again, I would not have my family. While I was in Tx, I went to Galveston, Pasadena and Houston. Lots of stuff to see in TX.

Hello. My name is Ann and I am addicted to American Idol. LOL!!!
I've been hooked on the show since the very first episode... only question is, now that it's over what will I watch now on Tue and Wed nights...lol.
Kelly won.. just like I knew she would! She has an awesome voice. Justin will get a deal anyway, thats pretty much a given. I liked Tamyra Grey too. I like RJ also, he needs to learn to project his voice but he does sing good.
Nikki... how that woman lasted so long on that show I will never know, cause she for sure cant stay in key at all..lol.
Are any of you going to go to the AI Tour? They will be here on October 17th and yes... I plan on being there..lol.
And yes, there are actually people that say Kelly is fat.. can you believe that?? If she is fat at a size 4 then I must be like the good year blimp in their opinion...lol.
Anyway.. just wanted to share in the addiction...

I wanted to go see AI on tour but the closest place for me would be St. Louis and I was told they have already sold out.
I was thrilled Kelly won!!! Oh and for those of you who love Simon (I love his honesty), he has signed on for American Idol II.

Hi, Yeah! Kelly won. My kids fought with me saying how much better Justin was. Oh pity the youth of today. LOL. I heard a true funny story in re: to the size 4/fat issue. An actress, can't remeber which one, went into a upscale clothing store in NYC and asked for a size 8, the sales lady smuggly replied "We don't carry large sizes!" OUCH Fun post, thanks for the break. S-

Don't be depressed Yellow Rose. Remember T.V. and cameras add 10 lbs. . I guess if 8 is a larger size I will take my business to the tent and awning store. Anyway, REAL WOMEN RULE!!!
