This is the e-mail I recvied this afternoon. Please give some advice or ideas.

I never know how to respond to your e-mails. I know the pain I'm causing you and I hate myself for putting you through this. You truly don't deserve this but I can't be something I'm not any longer. You are a wonderful man but I can't give you what you need and deserve from a wife. You deserve a wife who loves you and wants to spend the rest of her life with you. That's not me. I've stayed married for all these years b/c of our children and the fact that our relationship was comfortable. I need more than that, and no matter how hard you try, you can't give me more. You can't change who you are and you shouldn't have to. I truly wish it was you I was meant to spend my life with but I know you're not. I hate the fact that I'm going to hurt my children. That tears me up every day. You don't know how hard I've tried to be happy in our marriage. But I can't remember a time when I was happy. I have always just been comfortable. I don't know what else to say. I think we've said all there is and anything else we say just hurts. I honestly never wanted to hurt you.

WW

I am going to tell OM the truth when I see him in October. Our relationship will end and then maybe you'll understand I'm not leaving you for another man. I don't know where I'll go from here but I can't stay. I wish you could understand.

Mjt,
Sorry for your pain. I know how it feels to hear these things from the one you love. I and many here have heard the same. Should you plan A? Yes, you should get strong and show your WW the changes you are willing and able to make. Will she respond, ??????? This is something I have worked over and over in my mind till I think I finally kind of understand. If you would like to read my post "to those who know. do I finally "get it" you will see what I mean.

You cannot change your wife, you can only try your best. How much or how far is up to you. Please take care. You will get good advice here. I have learned alot and it has really helped me. I was so lost, lonely, sad when I started this all. It is still hard but it does get better. I know you probably don't believe that, I didn't, but if you BELIEVE you will get better, YOU WILL.

wow, sounds just like something my WW could have said (has said?)

I'm not really sure what to tell you about her.

I guess you should just focus on yourself. Do Plan A for you. Don't worry about your WW. She may change her mind again (she has already once.)

Plan A is my advice.
