My question is this, any suggestions on how to use yet this delay to my advantage?

There are so many of you out there (Lor, Bramble Rose, hope4future and others) that were headed to court on your divorce when either you or the spouse came around. What was it that made the change occur?

I have done a great deal of praying and asking for God's will to be done, I am not sure that I decipher correctly sometimes, are these delays the Lords way of showing His will and I am not doing my part? Or are these delays really because of his idiot lawyer?

Any insight here would be greatly appreciated!!! I just feel that I might be missing an opportunity that the Lord is giving to me!!! HELP!

Should I go into a strong Plan A, there is no communication between us anymore except, "did you sign?" and "why did your lawyer change that?"

Kind of a sad place to be. Do need to discuss the kids and holidays here soon, but have put that off as I really don't want to share!!!!

God is not in favor of divorce. Biblically, your H has no right to divorce, you do because of his adultery (or maybe not, since women didn't have all that many rights?), but he doesn't. And Jesus says that this law was given for the "hardness of men's hearts". My counselor explained it to me that if we are in Christ, we don't have hard hearts.

I think it is beautiful that there are all these delays and you aren't to blame for any of them <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> .

Dividing up the holidays is so tough, I'm sorry you have that to face. You could invite him up to "share"...you'll know whether that is a good idea or not. It would be very interesting if he agreed.

IMHO, if it were me, I would give it one more try and Plan A my @ss off! If you truly don't want the divorce and want him back, then go for it. The only concern I have is are you willing to take the chance that it won't change things? Are you going to be handle it emotionally if he doesn't change his mind? That is my concern for you. Whatever you decide, do what is the best for YOU. I hope this helps a little. I'm not great at giving advice, but I try! Take care Dawn.
