Hi! Well I used to post here a few years ago. I am still "surviving!" I found out my brother is having an affair. She is from Czechoslovakia. I know I read a post here not long ago about Russian and Czech woman coming here, using the men and off they go. He owns his own business, he's got money, so a perfect candidate!! If any of you could point me in the right direction please let me know, I would like to pass this on to my brother. Knowing that it probably won't do any good at this time... but you never know.

I wrote a while back about my husband who's having an affair with a Czech female. He's 49, she's 26. He met her here in Australia, she's been back in her home country for the past 7 months. I don't know if Czech women have the same reputation as Russian women, I too would like to know. (apologies to all decent Czech and Russian women, I don't mean you!).

Hi there,

quote:
(apologies to all decent Czech and Russian women, I don't mean you!).

Neither do I. Please forgive.
I live in Europe and the reputation of East European woman is indeed very bad. Russian, Czech, Polish... You can look in the newpaper here daily and you will always read things like: Russian woman looking for man to marry or Czech. woman is seeking man to marry..........
You see alot of real "ugly gaggers" walking around here with real pretty young Russian and Czech. girls. And boy do these "girls" look happy. Many just don't have much of a choice, they are just saving their "butt" and the men actually think the girls love them.
These countrys are very extreme. Either extremely "rich" or extremely "poor". So you can hardly blame these girls. Men that fall for them are just seeing what they want to see and are not being realistic.
But as I said, I am not talking about the decent, hard working, correct and honest woman. And there are woman like this all over the world.
I hope that I have not offended anyone, it was not meant to. I was just saying what the situation is like here in Europe.
take care bb

Thanks Blondblossom,
From what I know of her, the Czech OW has a law degree and started an entry level job with a law firm in Prague. Would even an educated girl like that play the game? I really am very ignorant of all this, I just cannot imagine what a 26 year old girl who 'has men falling at her feet' (her words to my husband) would be doing with my husband. OW had a boyfriend in her home country before taking up with my husband. When OW first met my husband he had a very highly paid job, but he lost that a few months before she went back to her home country. Do you think she'll drop him once he runs out of money?

Sorry to kind of butt in on this post but Evensong, we have almost the same story, (see my sig line) WEIRD.
Survivor, I know your brother will probably not want to listen. But I think you should warn him. Maybe coming from family it will mean something. I have heard some horror stories. I am not implying anything, but just so if something happens you don't feel guilty for not saying anything. I have never said anything to my H because I think he would think it was just a ploy to separate them. But you don't have any ulterior motive you are just concerned about his welfare.
Even if OW doesn't have any "other motive" there are a lot of pitfalls in this sort of relationship. Maybe realizing them will help pull your H out of the FOG.
Hope this helps.

All I can say is that from what I know and have heard, the men from these countries don't usually treat their "woman" very good. (the men are known to drink alot and become very violent) Therefore the women have the illusion that America is a dream. They believe that they will be treated the best. If they manage to get a life in America or whatever, they will be "envied" from their friends and families. They have then "made it!!!"
Their dream is to meet a wealthy American/or whatever and to live a life that you see in the movies.
When money gets low and some other guy comes around, they too will be gone!!!!!!!!
If your H would tell this woman that he has lost "Everything" financially, how would she react???? The first thing they really "need" and "want" is the possibility to enter the US and be safe to stay. I believe she would drop him once she is "sure" that she could stay in the US. (she probably left because her Visa expired, or?)

Thanks guys for your replies. It helped find what I was looking for!!
I'm just very sorry about the circumstance for the replies.
I forwarded this on to my brother, I found the post written by the immigration attorney, just what I needed. Hmmmm, I will wait and see. At least since I know so much about this stuff I won't be waiting for a reply!!

Please don't believe everything you hear. Please do not compare yourself to these other woman or other men. Be you, work on you to become a better person, and be the best you that you can be. Can ANYONE compete with that??????
It makes me so angry to hear about affairs over and over again. If my brothers marriage was going to end because him and his wife decided that was the better way to go, I would have no problem with that. But when there is someone else involved and my sister-in-law was never asked if this was ok with her, she was never asked if it was ok to bring another individual into their lives. I have a huge problem with this.
If these "relationships" that people get involved in are so wonderful and so fantastic and they are "meant to be" why isn't everyone involved(parents, kids, etc etc) told immediately that they met the woman/man of their dreams???
Why not go home and tell "little Susie" that you met the woman/man you were meant to be with last night at the car wash, he is everything that you have waited for and that after your car was washed you knew you had to be with this person.
If it is so SPECIAL WHY do people hide it? If it is so RIGHT why do people hide it?
A friend of mine came up to me a few months ago, we recently had started working closely together. She came in my office and proceded to tell me her husband was having a ea, she said I don't know why I am telling you this, I don't know why I am trusting you with this but she told me.
All I know is after being through this with my husband, after watching my world fall apart, I got back on my feet, I started with baby steps and have kept going. I am a stronger person because of this, and I am happy of the person I have become.
Hang in there guys and thanks so much for your help ONCE AGAIN......
