Whos has done the phone counseling? It sounds like a plan, but we are on a very tight budget. I can get free counseling through WH job ( we have been), but I feel like we need someone who really knows what they are doing!!!!!!
Just looking for advice or personal experiences. I can definitely spend the money if it is really worth it.
WH is definitely interested in counseling and wants to work on marriage, but he continues to work with OW. It was EA and went on for about 3 months. He still talks to her at work and is in a abit of a fog in realizing that they can no longer be friends.

I highly recommend it, even if its only for a couple of sessions for the Harleys to get you on the right track with a plan.

Here is K's endorsement of phone counseling. K's helps for new members It's in there on the page somewhere. If you are wondering what his story is, here is the story. K's Story I think you'll agree he would know about counseling and how it helped. Ss

We saw a local counselor for a number of months before H left. At that point I called and made the appointment here.
I can honestly say that one session with Steve Harley was more focused than 10 sessions with the other counselor. He's very positive and pro-active, while previous counselor was more laid back.
Definitely worth the money!

I have to tell you that it would be worth it for even one session with Steve. He was the thing that really broke through my FWH's defenses and got him thinking about what he was doing. My Plan B didn't hurt, but it was Steve who really got him thinking on the right track. And my FWH absolutely hates the whole counseling thing! Good luck.

I think Steve is worth it, if only for a few sessions!
