Boy it's only been 2 days after my W called me after 6 weeks, but it is hard not picking up the phone and calling!!!
I really have a problem with all the I-net affairs. Am I crazy or is the whole world getting weird?? My wife really doesn't think it's the same as meeting someone in person. That's ridiculous isn't it? I know it's not how my marriage got to the point it is, but it's not helping me get any closer to her. She's like addicted to talking to all the available men out there. Hopefully fog will lift and she'll come out and see the real daylight.
Would it be adviseable in a couple of weeks of no contact if the MC were to call her and see if she'd like to go in for an IC? Or do I just wait patiently for her to make the move (if she does)?
How long do I wait to show affection since we are separated? Isn't this part of Plan A. Do little things to show affection to fill her love bank with no LB's? How long do I wait before doing any of these things? She got a good dose of the new Alan the other night. If I know my wife she will be expecting me to call her real soon (since I begged and pleaded in the beginning) She will wonder what is wrong if I don't. She's very curious.
I wish I was home to tuck in my girls.
My wife and I discussed alot of things that I didn't do right in the marriage. She finally took some responsibility in the marriage breakdown.......I was surprised. I've been blamed since day one. This makes me believe that fog has lifted a little. I feel that once she understands that seeing a guy or talking to men when your still married is an affair........now we are on level playing field since she is really mad at me for having EA over a year ago. She was probably shocked that I didn't get mad about the guy she was with at concert. Normally I would be, but I know why she did it and now she should realize how easy it really is if marriage is suffering. I made some jokes about it (didn't get mad...no LB) and she laughed too. She may still be in contact with him or others, but it doesn't bother me. If that's the life she chooses......sounds like unhapiness to me. I told her I was staying faithful to her....enough pain has occured. I'm starting a brand new way of life for me. Total honesty and respect for others. For 2 years Satan was eating at my soul and he won't win. I won't allow him to destroy my marriage. God will stand with me.
I bet she was surprised when I remembered the restaurant we went to on first date and were we had our first kiss.
I am praying for everyone here having family problems. I thank everyone here for helping me. I hope to have an outcome then I will really celebrate on MB!
God Bless

Alan, you are really growing. You are moving nicely in recovery. Patience is key. I know you likely wish there was another answer and we all wish we could do that for one another here--give a magic key to heal the M.
You are showing an amazing attitude toward W's other men. wow! The Internet is such a deadly thing and you are justified in feeling angry and annoyed. If only she was giving you that attention.
Try to do what you can to deposit units in her lovebank. Keep trusting God that you will hear from her again. The greatest lovebank deposit you can do for her at this time is something unseen--pray for her. Pray that God will bless her..that He will heal her emotions, lift her fog, help her to see the new you. That He will protect your precious little ones.
I think you have to wait for her to call you again as hard as that must be. Keep on posting.
I'm sure others who are in pain will really benefit from your prayers, too.
You really are doing well. Don't give up and try to be patient.
Hang in there.

Thanks Fresh.. It is soooooooooo hard. I hope if we recover that we never get to this point again. All the money, pain, energy, emotions. Anyone that thinks divorce is the EASY way out is crazy.
Everyone here is impressed that I am fighting for marriage. Priest is thrilled and proud to see how hard I am working for my marriage. If she is manipulating me.......she is good. Right now I'm vulnerable when it comes to her, so I'm pretty easy. I agreed to give her back some things I have.....without her asking, thinking it may be another way of opening her heart.
I guess I don't get it. 6 1/2 years and a 3 year old daughter. We have problems yes, but we have a foundation to build upon as she knows I love her. Then she seeks out other men (strangers) from the internet, looking to start a relationship from scratch????????? Make sense?????
I reiminded her of all the times I was there for her.....were those guys??? When she was sick, injured, delivery room, recovery, and much much more. What happened FOR BETTER OR WORSE????
These guys are after one thing. I reminded her they are going to say the nicest things (guess why). I said wasn't I a really really really nice guy when we starting dating??? I was smooth and said all the right things to impress her. That's the same things these guys are doing. I told her she doesn't know how they really are. I told her to be careful and I don't want her to get hurt. I wonder if she even cares what I think?
I told her if she decided to give it a try that she would have the husband she always dreamed about! Guaranteed!!!

My prayer for you is that she realizes you are becoming her dream come true.
Wish I had better help for you but take comfort in the prayers of the many here for you, too.
