I work for a foundation. I have been asked by another foundation to review a large grant request as an anonyous peer reviewer/they trust our organization's expertise on this issue.

The grant proposal is from the OW to fund her projects and her salary at my WH's organization.

I will have to recuse myself because obviously I doubt I can be objective. I found this to be an amusing irony today.

It is tempting to trash this thing, but not worth it.

Oh, the temptation would be too great for most of us to ignore. However, think how you will feel about this situation in a year, two, five.

Do what you think you can live with yourself for doing.
Good luck.
