I'll play too....

I've learned all of the above. But most of all as a BS I've learned this:

1. No matter how much hurt you can still love with all of your heart

2. Forgiveness comes from deep within

3. Forgetting will never happen but the more you try to forget the better

4. Most of all I've learned that children and their feelings are of the utmost importance. Even through all of the LB'ing, fighting, yelling, screaming, ignoring, etc..... Always explain to your children (mine are 3 & 5) it's a stupid grown-up thing and that both of you LOVE THEM WITH ALL OF YOUR HEARTS!!!!! Never let them try to guess!! Assure them of the your LOVE!!!

I could go on but remember the children they are just as hurt if not more hurt than both the BS & WS..........................

I learned a bunch, much of it from you folks here on this site, the thing that jumps out at me now looking back is the feeling that unhappiness is really the root of all evil, and low self esteem the root of all unhappiness.
