I don't want to sound selfish, but I need help on foucusing on me. I am seeing a IC and she suggested that instead of focusing my energies on the lies and deceptions I have caught my H in that I need to focus on myself.
I agreee with her, but I don't know how. I feel like I have put so much into my M that i have forgotten how to do that. I almost feel like I have lost/misplaced the person I used to be.
I am also 6 month preg. so, focusing on me is needs to be a priority if for nothing but the health of the baby.
I would appreciate any suggestions anyone may have. thanks!

Ebah, I understand where you are coming from and I myself have recently made a "declaration of me!" If you have allowed yourself to drift away from old friends, get out the phone book and invite 2-3 to meet for lunch. What types of things do you enjoy? Take a class at the junior college to further a skill or interest. You are bound to meet people, as most other people love to talk to expectant mothers! Good luck and keep your chin up!

How about a new 'do? or manicure? Maybe you could buy yourself something comfy that looks nice to wear the day you bring your baby home. It will give you something to look forward to.... Hugs and I hope you feel better soon. DB
