My husband has never been a flirt...never. Yet women flock to him. He is sensitive and funny and handsome. His general aloofness and polite concern seem to drive women mad. I never saw it coming. Even when in public I have never even caught him give a sideways glance to any woman. On the contrary he spends most public engagements pointing out the men looking at me or being glued to my side so that other men know "she is taken...back off". Odd? Maybe. But that is the way he is. BTW I am no flirt although my husband says I cause havoc with just my presence. It is ironic to me that he is fearful that I will be taken advantage of or cross lines while it is not my nature...never has been never will be.

Thanks all for the replies: Very interesting- especially those who stated their WS were not flirts. Well, at least that helps ease my mind a trifle. It's not an "absolute" personality type I guess.

After his A I told him I wanted to live by the Monogomy Myth rule written by Peggy Parish- Ironic- the OW's first name was Peggy- small world- how many Peggy's are there- sheesh

Anyway, I told him I wanted absolute honesty. Now, when we are in a store and I am walking in front of him he lets me know that a woman walked past him and went mmmmmmmm. I ask him why he felt the need to tell me this- stupid me- he responds with "I thought you wanted me to tell you everything"-

well, let's see, not only did he know what she was wearing and the color of her hair- he knew the color of her eyes- I point out that he had made eye contact with her- therefore instigating the mmmmmm,- eye contact, I told him, let her know he found her interesting- her response was just that- a response to what she felt coming off of him- course he doesn't see this my way- my god, how can you know the color of eyes if you haven't stared into them <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="images/icons/cool.gif" />

Anyway, ask and thee shall receive. Thanks for the responses- my thoughts and prayers go to each of you.
