Thanks Terri... for posting this.
I talked to one of the producers today, and he'll be getting back to me by tomorrow night to let me know if I'll be on the Dr.Phil show!!! I'm still so giddy!!!
I have a one in five chance of being on the show. Not too bad, eh?
For those who don't know what I'm talking about (which is everyone except for Terrified )... I applied to be on the Dr.Phil show a few weeks ago from his website. He will be taping a show on "birth order", and I am curious as to how I should be dealing with Eric, as he now has the "first born" role in the family.. .however, that was supposed to be Andrew's role. Therefore, Eric's accomplishments are bittersweet to me, and I would love to have Dr.Phil's advice on how to get over that for Eric's sake.
According to the producer I spoke with, my email stood out from the 137 recieved, as mine was the only one dealing with a parent's perspective towards the children, and all others were adult children talking of their experiences based on their birth orders.
Keep your fingers crossed gang!!! Terri: I'll call you as soon as I find out the answer, and you can post it on here for me, k?
Karen
p.s. If I do get on the show, they'd fly me out to CA on Dec 16th for one overnight. They may also send a film crew from the Chicago set (Oprah's crew no doubt! LOL) to do some filming here in London (Ontario, Canada) too!!! HOW EXCITING!!!!
