Something I have not mentioned before is that to complicate matters, our company announced a couple of weeks ago they will be relocating to Texas. I've been so busy dealing with my situation I haven't thought about this too much.

We will know by March who gets invited to move and who won't. The mood at work, as you can imagine, is somber. People are taking it better than I expected though.

So, what does this do to my situation? I don't know yet. My W wants to desperately return so she can be with OM. She wanted to talk about plans for her move back in January. I told her I wasn't ready to discuss that.

On the one hand if I am invited to move to TX and I go, will she still come here and therefore I would be away from my S? Or would she not return because she still hasn't found a job and is dependent on me and she believes it is important that our S lives close by to both of us?

My IC told me that under the circumstances she would have a hard time justifying to a judge that I stay in the midwest because if I do, I would lose my job and because the only tie she has to the midwest is her "boyfriend." What do you think the judge will say? Besides with her line of work, she can find a job anywhere. He suggested that I talk to my lawyer about this.

Jennifer told me that as she sees things, I would have a better chance of saving my M if I move to TX and because the OM's divorce is not finalized he could not move to TX.

Why do tragedies never come alone?
