Over the past year and a half so many of you have been there to offer comfort and support, and it is appreciated so much. Once again, I must ask for your support. I haven't posted much about this on this forum, but my mother is in the late stages of Alzheimers and is gravely ill. The hospice nurse has given her less than a week. Thankfully she is not in any pain or discomfort. Please pray for my family and pray that my mother's last days are quiet and peaceful, and be happy that she will soon be reunited with my father. Bless all of you.

And if I go,
while you're still here...
Know that I live on,
vibrating to a different measure
- behind a thin veil you cannot see through.

You will not see me,
so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar together again,
- both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
And when you need me,
Just whisper my name in your heart,
......I will be there.

My heart and thoughts are with you sad, please know this. I know what it is like to lose a mom.

sd,
I am sorry that you have had to deal with this along with everything else the last 18 months.

I do think that you have a very good perspective on things and that is good.

I will pray for a peaceful meeting of our Heavenly Father for your mother.

Dear Sad Dad,

I'm sorry for the heart break that is soon to come. Know that God never gives us more than we can bear, Isaiah 41:13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy hand, saying unto thee Fear not I will help Thee.

Prayers on your behalf.

I'm so sorry to hear of your situation. My dad died of lung cancer 5 months ago. The hospice nurses were very nice, on the day he died we had the most wonderful nurse. She stayed most of the day, talked with us, prayed with us, kept bumping up the dosage on the morphine pump to ensure that daddy was not in pain. She even made all the necessary phone calls after he died. she didn't leave until everything was taken care of and everyone was pretty calm. She was truly a blessing for us.

I don't know you, haven't read your story, but I will be praying for you, your mother, and your family during this terrible time.

May God bless you and your family.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I saw my mother tonight. The end is near. It won't be more than a couple of days.
