8 mile was the last one I bought my husband just gave me marshall mathers, and prior to that I bought the eminem show. I know nothing about rap and am very eclectic in my music choices (from vivaldi to elvis). I am sick of sappy love songs and just can completely relate to Mr. Mathers honesty...loves his daughter poisoned by his hating and loving his wife...and lets not even get into the head games mothers play.

I purchased Tom Petty's latest, "The Last DJ", then went to see him in person on tour with a friend. Saw him with WW back in 2000, was a blast, bumpin' hips.
Then another friend and I just went to see "Toad the Wet Sprocket" and the "Counting Crows" last night... Now I'm on my way out the door to the music store for my next purchase...

Hey those beach boys get around. I saw them with Chicago back in the 70's. Also Elton John at Dodger Stadium. Opening act Rita Coolidge, what a pairing, unfortunately she almost got booed of the stage. But, the best was the Osmond Bros. (OH, that Donny) Those were the days.

This was such a fun topic!
I saw the Eagles 3 different times in concert..... Dan Fogelberg 2 times, Journey 2 times, The Cars 1 time (but didnt sit thru it all, i had a really rude date!), Barry Manilow 1 time, Elton John 1 time, 4play (a jazz group) 1 time...gosh, i cant remember the others...
Last CD I bought??? Well, I bought Lizzie McGuire CD and Aaron Carter CD for my daughter today and some other weird named ones for my son... but for me...the last CDs were:
Faith Hill... Cry Martina McBride... Greatest Hits (I love how she belts out 'Where Would You Be'?) Kenny Chesney... Greatest Hits Celine Dion.... all of her music! Barbra Streisand... love her talent!
I could go on and on...... oh yeah.......i saw the BeachBoys in Austin Texas back in the early 80's!!!! sighhhhhhh, those were the days!
Ohhhhhhhhh, i've also seen Willie Nelson at his 4th of July Picnic... closest thing to Woodstock that I've ever been to...ha!
.... thanks for the memories.....

OK I can top that Donny Osmond - I went to see David Cassidy in May at a casino in Conneticut - My sister is stillin love with him and believe it or not he can still really sing - there is nothing like I woke up in Love this Morning to bring back the memories....

Loreena McKennit -- The Book of Secrets, The Mask & the mirror Bebo Norman -- Big Blue Sky, 10 Thousand Days
When I was younger, folks said I looked like Kenny Loggins -- went to one of his concerts one time and had girls following me around, hoping I was him (I'm younger, tho
