Anyone know if cell phones come with pre-written quick texts. My H phone has answers like yes, no, need directions, pick me up, be there in 15 min.

If this was written by him, then I know how he was talking to the OW. If they were pre programed, then it could just be coincidence. (sorry for the spelling, typing and nursing again).

I am counting on all of you. I have to decide on confronting him about this or not. Don't want to LB. But don't want to be a fool either.

new jersey,
I can only say that the cell phones I have has so far did have pre -written texts, yes, but you have to programm details on your own. For example:
the cell phones I have had so far have the following:
Going to be late: I am going to be ______min. late.
Date: Where_________
Day:__________
Time:__________
Where:_________

These are the texts that come with the handy. Anything other than that has to be programmed personally.

That would mean: "be there in 15 min." would be something I would have programmpersonally.
"need directions" too and "pick me up" would also be something I would have to programm myself, it doesn't just appear on my handy unless I programm it.

How about going to a shop that sells cell phones. Ask for details about the cell phone that your
H has, just to make sure. Let them explain this to you, just to be positive. Just a thought to be on the safe side.

I'm sorry for what you are going through.
take care
bb

PS: you can also get a detailed cell phone bill. This will also list all the text messages that were sent from this handy. To get a detailed bill you have to apply for this. I did this on my own.
They will send the application to your home address and you can sign it without your H finding out. At least it can be done this way in Europe. My H didn't even know that he had a detailed handy bill, this way I could see the numbers he was calling.

Thank youBB-I only get a bill at home, no phone numbers, so I began to wonder. Again, I still am suspect that she has some contact-why wouldn't she? I can do nothing at the moment-no proof. It would be a huge LB to confront with no info. It is a verizon phone if that helps anyone. There are 15 preprogramed texts. Such as give me number to call, call back in 15 min.

I just discovered this yesterday. I will see about getting a bill. Anyone else have these?

My FWH has a new "internet ready" phone. (hate that, but we have an agreement) It has pre-programmed messages that say I miss you and things like that. Don't think I didn't have a complete heart attack when I saw that. Unfortunately, the cell phone companys are not building these phones for the BS.

I wouldn't worry about the pre-programmed text. However, I can tell you that I signed up on-line to be able to view the phone bill. I look at it each day. It doesn't tell me who he sends text messages to (neither does the printed bill), but it shows me who he has called. When we had a different service, the printed bill showed incoming and outgoing text message numbers. All it takes is a phone call. You are the wife, you should be able to sign up on-line as well as asking for a printed bill over the phone. Also, if he doesn't delete the sent messages, they will be saved in sent items and the incoming messages will be saved in the inbox. My FWH now allows me to check his phone at all times.

Sorry you are faced with that. Good luck and God Bless~!

I agree with both above. U can do alot by internet as long as u have H info (SS#ect.) Just go online and see if there is away u can view itemized bill there ( use your own screen name pretending to be him. U can do the same for credit cards and view all purchases. Also go to the store and get the manual for the same phone it usually saves the last 10 incoming calls.

Also see if the phone H has can recieve internet messages ow could be able to texted him messages through internet .

Most phones have pre-written text as time savers.

Don't LB!

Thank you so much. I wasn't sure what to think. It is a newer phone and I had never seen that before. I'll have to see about the bill. I guess whoever sets up these phones has had an affair. I have some major triggers. I think I make myself crazy.

My question is are these pre programed or did he put them in. If they are not pre programed, then I need to check up on him since he has no need to "be picked up" or be "there in 15 min. Would love your help.

Hi, my cell phone has pre set messages that say:
I'm running late but I'm on my way
Can't talk right now, send me a message
I received your message and will reply
Where are you?
Can you talk?
Don't forget to...
Call me at...
Tag, you're it!
Is that your final answer?
You've got to be kidding!
I love you!
Wassup?
Let's party!
Hugs and kisses -xoxo
I'll be there at
Meet me at...
I'm going to...
You go girl!
Call me ASAP!
Call home.
The meeting has been canceled.
The meeting location has been changed.
I have to work late.
Can you pick up the kids?
I sent this from my pcs phone!
Thanks!

All of those were preprogrammed into my Sprint internet-ready PCS phone. I don't know what type of phone your H has but it is possible that those were already pre set in his phone. I think every model phone has a variation of pre set messages. Hope this helps. I would hate for you to LB!

I can't seem to get the bill on line, may be a local co., but I am beginning to think the messages were pre programmed. Thank goodness I didn't LB. I am so glad we have this site. The triggers are the worst. Thank you very, very much for your help. Even over a year later I still freak over that phone.

I still freak over the phone too. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's a HUGE trigger for me and my FWH allows me to check it every night when I get home and I check it on-line. I'm down to twice a day - once at the beginning of my work day and once at the end. Do what you need to do to be OK. Congratulate yourself for not LBing.

Good job gang for getting her through this!
