I am not sure if this an appropriate question or not - but does anyone have a recommendation for a therapist/councilor/psychologist/psychatrist in the Broome/Tioga county areas of NY that believe in the concepts of this website?
I have no idea if I can convince my wife to try counciling again - but feel that our first psychologist was not really 'pro-marriage' -- after all we never even really talked about what got us to where we are. Instead she told us that we both had control and trust issues - and that we needed to come to terms with the fact that we cannot make each other change. (I feel I believe and accept that now.)

I don't have any advice for you, but I wantes to say hello! I was born in Endicott NY and moved to Owego NY when I was in HS. Dh and I are going home for Christmas later today . Small world! I will be thinking of you when we go thru Binghmaton very early in the am tomarrow!
