Well, as of today, it's been a year since d-day. Things are going pretty smooth although I did have some stress about it a week or so ago. H said on his own one night last week that even with the bad things that had happened this year (my mother passing, his dad currently in hospital) that Christmas would still be better than last year because he didn't have any terrible news to tell me like last year. He mistakenly thought that d-day was Christmas eve, but I'll forgive him for missing it by one day. The fact that he remembered and mentioned it was sufficient enough for me. So chalk one year down for us. Hope to make it many more!

Jamup --

Just wanted to acknowledge your very positive post on this Christmas night. We don't get to "feel good" about many of the posts around here, so when I read one that's upbeat, it warms me.

I'm happy for you. I wish I could report the same in my situation, but I can't. My D-Day was almost a year and a half ago and I have nothing positive to feel or report. So I log-on here and read and every so often come across a gem like yours. I keep hoping mine will turn out much the same as yours, but...

Thanks for sharing that with us and thanks for helping to keep the hope alive for the rest of us.

I wish you peace and continued success,

Ammon
