no filter will keep an addict away from a fix. They don't make one that covers foreign languages, or anything else like that. The only effective "filter" is isolationist living in the backwoods somewhere with no electronics or technology, no electricity, no transportation and no shoes.
If that's not an option, then I suggest a good recovery program with a sponsor who will shoot straight about the addict's behavior.

Got any wire cutters? In other words, no more internet is the best filter I can recommend. That or password protect your computer to limit access.

Here is a web site that I am currently using. They have internet access for I think $17.95 a month, and it is filtered. They have a great program for porn addiction, too, Christ centered. Setting Captives Free

Hi All - To keep ol' sex addict me clean, or at least accountable, we put the "covenant eyes" software on our PC. (Website: http://www.cvnt.net) This software doesn't stop you from going anywhere, but tracks every website you hit. You select one or two people to monitor your internet usage, then if the porn addict in your household slips up and goes to a bad place, s/he has some explaining to do. Note that this does NOT address the issues of usenet, (newsgroups), or email. But it does at least track webpages, which is how most of us use the internet these days.
