J.B., the doctor recommended Prozac. I think he is afraid to take it. Our daughter is an R.N. and she thinks doctors tend to overmedicate. She has expressed that concern to her father. HOWEVER, she tells her dad he needs to talk to someone. If he would just do that I wouldn't be nearly has hurt. I have expressed my concern to her that I feel her dad DOES need medication. She hasn't lived here in five years. She's only around him on holidays and special occasions. Also, he was always on his "best behavior" when daddy's little girl was home. My son has told her that. Of course, she is still in denial that anything is wrong, although I'm living out of the house.
My H has had a problem "finishing" since all this started. Thus, I "made him sick" and that's why he had trouble in that area. No problem getting started, etc, but takes all night to do what he used to do all night you might say. Funny thing, he tells me how great I look now....(well, I have been working out and have lost quite a bit of weight). Same problem. So, I think at that point he was looking for a scapegoat to justify the fact he was "talking" to someone. He is 45 years old, so this problem might have something to do with age. I asked once if there was something I could do to help it along and he got mad. Story of our marriage. I have to watch every word that comes out of my mouth. Anyhow, any comments on prozac?

[This message has been edited by Janie (edited September 14, 1999).]
