Each year a contest is conducted in the Washington Post Style section called the Post Invitational. For 2002, the entrants had to take any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting, or changing only one letter and supply a new definition.
Here is the winner, which I think is a pretty good judgmental term we can use between us guys to describe a lot of OMs:
Ignoranus: A person who's both stupid and an [censored].
Here are some other examples of the entries:
Intaxication: Euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until you realize it was your money to start with.
Reintarnation: Coming back to life as a hillbilly.
Foreploy: Any misrepresentation about yourself for the purpose of obtaining sex.
Giraffiti: Vandalism painted very, very high.
Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person who doesn't get it.
Inoculatte: To take coffee intravenously when you are running late.
Hipatitis: Terminal coolness.
Osteopornosis: A degenerate disease. (This one got extra credit).
Karmageddon: It's like, when everybody is sending off all these really ! bad vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes and it's like, a serious bummer.
Glibido: All talk and no action.
And this one, which may have application in describing BS confusion with a fast talking WS:
Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.

Oh WAT is really a descendant from good 'ol Mr. Webster and here to give us the next centuries version of weirdo word evolution. Out in CA we have the valley girl talk, back in the 70's the chollo (sp?) version and the Oakland lingo ( LOL).
