vacation ideas?

I am hoping some people out there can help me come up with some vacation ideas.

Read : Update-OW tried to kill my H

for a more complete story on what we have been up to. I want to take my W on a vacation and our money tree is hibernating or dorment or something. I want to take our D too, but I think that it would be nice for just the 2 of us to go.
I was wondering if there are any nice romantic (but inexpensive) vacation spots out there. I welcome all ideas and sugestions.
BTW we live in the N/NE part of the U.S.

my husband and i did canada-montreal in particular. we loved it and got a great deal due to the exchange rate. it was amazing. we live in jersey, flew up and stayed 3 nights in a 5 star hotel.(the plaza i believe.) one dinner was included and it was less than 600.00 for Both of us. amazing bargain.

another idea is look up places that do time share presentation.(i have a web sit, i just have to find it for you) we are staying in a brand new 3 bedroom condo-jacuzzi's in 2 od the 3 bathrooms right outside of disney for only 99.00 a night! it actually costs 500.00 a night regularly. we get breakfast everyday and all we have to do is sit through a 1 hour presentation and not buy!!!

If you decide to come to Canada though, don't be lured to Toronto by all the seat sales....it's the SARS hotbed of the nation!

Montreal or Quebec City or Ottawa are beautiful places in the east though. You can't beat the exchange rate you'll get.

Hi,
The best place to look is yahoo.com's last minute vacation deals or expedia.com. My girlfriends and I went on a trip last month, 4 days 3 nights to ocho rios jamaica. Airfare and hotel were included and the trip cost $500 for 2 people in a room. I had a wonderful time.

I thank everyone for the ideas. I think we (W & I) are going to have to decide what we want to do on our vacation. I would like it to be a relaxing one, but at the same time both of us are rather active people and we both get restless after awhile. Maybe if there is a MB retreat out there, where people can take part in available activities if they want.

I am still open to other thoughts and ideas.
