Hi Orchid!
I know that you often advise people to check the financial and other background of the OM and OW. Since I haven't received a dime of child support in over 8 months, I think I need to check X's new wife out.
So far, the kids have only met her and her daughter once, for dinner, that was 4 months ago. X saw the kids last week and told them he wanted to start getting them over other weekend....
I'll believe that when I see it.

I new to this board, so excuse my ignorance, but why is it necessary to check the financial background of the OM/OW? In the state where I live, the OM/OW is not responsible for child support.

I did a search on USSearch.com. There are other sites. Go to askjeeves.com and ask how to do research on a person. Some sites are free but most charge.
Seed,
You ask why do the research? Well in this case, Kk's children are subjected to being around the OW. What if the OW is a danger to her children? Can't trust her XH to figure that out, he's hooked, got the OW hook in his gut and other body parts (sorry KK, kinda graphic).
It is for her protection and that of her chlidren to find out of the OW has any type of a crimminal record or if she is taking hold of $$$ that legally should be going to KK and her family.
