San Francisco BayArea MBer ... I would like to poll for picnic/get together.

How many of us are interested going ?
How many of us are interested/don't mind a whole day family picnic (11am-'till we all go home) ?
How many of us prefers adult only get together, 2-4 hours setting ?

If there is enough interest, I would organize it ...

Any inputs where we should go ? ...

SF-Zoo, we could also match our faces with the new monkey sections and plenty of picnic places.
BlackBerry Farm, day time camping type, has BBQ , swimming pool, baseball/basketball/tenis/volleyball court and safe environment to let the litlle ones loose <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />
Friday or Saturday night skating <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

For 21& over activities ...
Club Cocomo in SF, The Palms in MountainView ... has late afternoon outdoor life Salsa music <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="images/icons/cool.gif" />
Sur La Table, cooking party <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />
8.2 mi Point Reyes Hike ...
Salmon Fishing in the bay ...

Let me know ... as long as it is legal activity <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> I am all for it. I am planning it for mid-late August.

-rh-

Note: Any other area MBer if you are happen to be planning a trip to SF ... let me know we might be able to fit the date w/ your trip.

Hi RH,

I'm game but may be out of the state in Aug. Not sure so don't hold up any plans. Let me know where and when. If I can I will try to be there.

Sure would like to meet more from the Bay Area. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Oaktown, Rapunzel, PI and the other guys (not sure if they all want to be listed here). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> Hope you can make it.

RH, PI and I already did a luncheon last year. So it would be great to meet others.

I'd vote for a luncheon.

I'd be interested! But not mid-July, as I'll be in Yosemite.

How about 8/16/2003 ?. I picked Sat date since some of us might have to go to church on Sun. Zoo is good environment for the kids ... I plan to bring my 2 D. They know the Zoo well, they could play tour guide to your kid. There are a lot of open space for us for picnic.

Hey, AM ... how about you ? any preference ? ... btw, Orchid lives around SJ.

Wangi, Rapunzel, PI, Oaktown, JL, JR & RH are all in the bay area. Spacecase used to go to school here (but I think that was a few 'decades' ago - LOL!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> ).

I'd love to go to the East Coast. I'd love to go anywhere. Redhat, again, my plans are very uncertain, and a trip to the Bay Area would be a bit of a big deal, several hours drive. And there is a chance I won't even be here. But keep me informed, I'm a definite maybe.

Orchid, I'll email.

Hi,

Can't do a midnight anything....getting too old!! LOL <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

May be able to make the zoo thing but on the last weekend in August. Maybe out of town on 8/16.

AM, I didn't get your e-mail because my e-mail was blocking everything. I just fixed it, so please try again.

Thanks,
L.
